The only thing wrong is the top of the front legs, trying to do the same thing as the back legs when I'm sure you know by now they shouldn't. Other than that, it's pretty gorgeous and I see nothing wrong.
I see what you mean. It's bad habit of mine to accentuate the shoulders. The only other thing that bothers me about this picture is the shape of the head and muzzle....a bit too...sharp/blocky? Dunno... Thanks for the feedback!
Overall I think it looks great, but I agree about the anatomy being a little wonky. I think particularly what strikes me as odd is the sharp definition of the first joint in the forelegs. Especially with the gesture of the front legs pushing them to more of a backwards curve, it makes them look like they'd bend the same way the back legs do.
I think the style and the dynamism is really fantastic though, I'm totally digging the lineless way you've been drawing lately!
I see what you mean. I usually try drawing the legs slightly curved to make them more sleek and dynamic, but it doesn't always work out like that, this pic being a good example of it. Also, I draw sharp joints....I should probably stop doing that >.>
And it's an interesting style to use. A bit time consuming at times (although there's surely a better technique to do it than the one I use) but with interesting results. I'm glad you like it!
